Row crowded: photo and description

Category: edible.

What the crowded row looks like in the photo with its description is provided below.

Hat (diameter 5-13 cm): grayish or off-white, fleshy, has the shape of a hemisphere, which over time changes to an almost prostrate, less often a little depressed. The edges are jagged and very wavy, usually curved inward. The color in the center is much brighter, but gradually brightens significantly. In a damp forest or after rain, the smooth skin becomes slippery and sticky, occasionally it can become covered with small darkening scales.

Leg (height 4-11 cm): solid and dense, has a cylindrical shape and a noticeable thickening at the very base. Smooth skin, white on top and brownish at the base, covered with mealy flakes.

Plates: dirty yellow, darken with slight pressure. Thick, often lagging behind the leg.

Pulp: fibrous and elastic, often light brown, with a powdery odor.

Doubles: poisonous accrete row (Lyophyllum connatum) and conditionally edible lyophillums - armored (Lyophyllum loricatum) and smoky gray (Lyophyllum fumosum). But the poisonous one has a lighter color, the armor one, on the contrary, is darker, and the smoky gray lyophillum is most often found in coniferous forests.

When it grows: from late August to early November in temperate countries of the Northern Hemisphere.

Where can I find: in deciduous and mixed forests. Often grows in gardens and parks.

The crowded ryadovka (see photo above) got its name due to the aggregates of mushrooms of various sizes, and these aggregates are usually extremely difficult to separate.

Eating: a very tasty mushroom, subject to preliminary boiling, it can be harvested in almost any form.

Application in traditional medicine: does not apply.

Other names: group ryadovka, crowded lyophyllum.
