Meat hodgepodge with beef, mushrooms and cabbage

This simple recipe will help you prepare your second course.

For meat hodgepodge with beef, mushrooms and fresh cabbage, you need the following ingredients:

  • 500 g of beef pulp;
  • 200 g of champignons;
  • 500 g of cabbage;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 1 onion;
  • 200 ml tomato juice;
  • 1 piece of bell pepper;
  • 20 g salt;
  • 70 ml of vegetable oil;
  • ground black pepper to taste;
  • 5 sprigs of basil and dill;
  • grains of cumin (cumin) on the tip of a knife.

Chop the cabbage thinly and salt, remember with your hand for better juice extraction. Grate the carrots there on a coarse grater and add the pepper cut into strips. Mix everything and let stand. In the meantime, rinse the meat and strip it from the pleura, cut into cubes.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and simmer the meat until golden brown with the addition of spices, and most importantly - do not dry it out and add water if necessary. This requires the following ingredients:

  • 100 g smoked sausage;
  • 100 g ham;
  • 5 potatoes;
  • 200 g dry mushrooms;
  • 1 onion;
  • 30 g canned capers;
  • 30 g canned olives;
  • 5 slices of lemon;
  • 5 sprigs of dill;
  • 40 g salt;
  • 3 g of ground black pepper;
  • 50 ml of sunflower oil;
  • 200 ml tomato juice.

Mushrooms must first be soaked in cold water for 2-3 hours, then boiled separately in salt water. Heat oil in a skillet and sauté onion and diced mushrooms for 15 minutes.

Peel the potatoes and chop them into cubes, send them to boil in the broth along with sautéing. Cut the breast, sausages, ham and sausage into small cubes and pour into the boiling broth. Cook for 15-20 minutes and then pour in the fruit drink, salt and pepper. Cook for another 10 minutes, add capers, olives and herbs 3-4 minutes before the end of cooking. Serve with lemon wedges.
